Our family business is a real family business run by the family only. Husband and wife, son, daughter, son in law and daughter in law, along with two of our teenage grandchildren and myself. We hire highschool students through a program to learn how to work and gain life skills as independants.

Our family will take the time with each customer to ensure they will be comfortable with the ski and snowboard gear they receive. With our used sporting goods side, it is for the locals to trade, barter or we full out buy (no consignment) so their kids can ski, play soccer, baseball, go into wrestling and more year round. We still hold a paper credit book.

With our ski rental program, we service Telluride employees, along with pilots and flight attendants from Montrose/Telluride Airport and across 4 counties. Our major brands of rentals are HEAD, Salomon, Fischer, Atomic, Icelantic, Never Summer and we do carry K2, Rossignol and Burton in our fleet.

970 Sports Rewind has a retail side of the Ski and Snowboard winter products. With our retail brands: Salomon, Atomic, Fischer, Icelantic, Never Summer and more, our Owner is a Master Boot Fitter and with his top of the line boot equipment can mold, shape to get your foot into your boot and up on the ski’s with ease.

Our backshop is the only one who is Certified to mount all major binding manufacturers and perform safety testing on all skis, in Montrose Colorado. Our certified technicians, tune and wax, grind, mount, repair and educate on how to keep shredding on the slopes. However, quality sports gear doesn’t come cheap. Luckily, Sports Rewind offers new and gently-loved equipment at an affordable price so you can keep your family enjoying their sports of choice on a budget.
